Outpatient Physical Rehabilitation Team

Meet the dedicated team of rehabilitation specialists at Marshall. During your recovery, you will work with a team of medical professionals who will work collaboratively to create a customized treatment plan focused on helping you achieve your personal goals. We have three convenient locations: El Dorado Hills, Placerville and Cameron Park.

Julie (Jules) Andrew, PTA, Physical Therapist Assistant

Jules Andrew, PTA, earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Sonoma State University. While playing basketball in college, she experienced a ligament injury and was referred to physical therapy, going on to obtain her physical therapy assistant certification from Sacramento City College after falling in love with her experience of it. With 24 years of experience in aquatic therapy, muscle energy techniques, and manual therapy, she enjoys helping patients heal so they can return to the activities they love.

When she is not working, Jules loves hiking, playing sports, biking, and camping.

Gina Buchholz, PTA, Physical Therapist Assistant

Gina Buchholz, PTA, received her associate’s degree from Visalia City College, and her physical therapy assistant training through the Professional Skills Institute in Santa Barbara, California. With proficiency in functional orthopedics, exercise for geriatrics, pain management, and rehabilitation for total joint replacement patients, Gina enjoys helping patients progress to their goals to be the best they can be.

In her spare time, Gina enjoys hiking, backpacking, kayaking, reading, listening to and making music.

Victoria Golmitz, M.A., CCC-SLP, Speech Language Pathologist

Victoria Golmitz, M.A., CCC-SLP, graduated from San Jose State University with her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders and sciences, followed by her master’s degree in speech language pathology. She has worked in acute inpatient and outpatient settings, with experience in adult swallowing disorders, speech and language disorders, voice disorders, and cognitive disorders including head injuries, stroke, and Parkinson's. She is trained in VitalStim, a neuromuscular electrical stimulation used to treat dysphagia, and is certified in a clinically-proven speech therapy approach for Parkinson’s called SPEAK OUT! With her many years of experience, she loves improving the communication life of her patients.

When she’s not at work, she enjoys camping, hiking, biking, kayaking and spending time with family and friends.

Jill McDougall, PT, MS, Physical Therapist

Jill McDougall, PT, MS, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology from University of California, Davis, followed by her Physical Therapy certification from University of California, San Francisco. She received her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, which she uses in her practice to help patients achieve their personal goals and facilitate the pace and direction of their desired changes.

Jill has practiced physical therapy in a variety of settings, including acute care, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and occupational medicine. She specializes in treating adults with orthopedic conditions and chronic pain.

Utilizing a variety of techniques, from manual therapy to neuromuscular re-education and exercise, Jill is passionate about empowering patients to be able to return to their prior level of functioning.

Dr. Teresa Montgomery, PT, DPT, Physical Therapist

Teresa Montgomery, PT, DPT, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Biology from University of California, Davis in 2008. In 2012, she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine, where she completed the manual therapy program for treatment of orthopedic conditions.

Teresa joined the Marshall Medical team in 2016 and has since expanded her specialty areas to include treatment of adult and pediatric patients with neurological conditions, vestibular disorders, and balance/gait impairments. She also works with the oncology team to help patients maintain their highest level of function during and after their cancer treatments. She believes in treating patients holistically and is certified as a Functional Nutrition Informed Professional (CFNIP).

Utilizing a variety of techniques, Teresa is passionate in helping patients achieve their personal goals, return to their prior level of function, and maintain their physical independence for as long as possible.

Dr. Kimmy Reid, PT, DPT, Physical Therapist

Kimmy Reid

With 17 years of clinical experience, Dr. Kimmy Reid is our Orthopaedic Certified Specialist Physical Therapist. Born and raised in Southern California, she moved to the area in 2014 with her husband. She received her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, receiving the Fred B. Moore award in recognition for outstanding clinical performance during her clinical rotations. Dr. Reid attended a year-long manual therapy course in 2011 and became an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist in 2012, one of only 20,000 currently in the United States.

Over the years, Dr. Reid has provided endless hours of mentorship for clinicians and interns, has published several magazine articles, and taken many hours of specialized continuing education. She specializes in all orthopedic pathologies and has a passion for using her experienced manual therapy techniques along with functional movement restoration to achieve the goals of her patients. Dr. Reid believes in educating patients about their own bodies and injuries in order to help them understand the “why” behind their personally directed therapy treatment.

John Wu, PT, Physical Therapist

John Wu received his Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from Cumberland College of Health Sciences, University of Sydney, Australia. Prior to his employment at Marshall, John worked in private clinics and hospital outpatient departments in Australia and Texas. He specializes in treating spinal disorders using a combination of manual techniques and exercise programs.

In Australia, he was trained in Maitland joint mobilization and Butler neural mobilization. He also specializes in treating vestibular impairments.

In 2020, John obtained a therapeutic pain specialist certification in order to better serve the chronic pain population.
