Resources for Former Bariatric Patients - Weight loss surgery can be a very effective treatment, but some patients have a pause in their progress to their goal. Some have weight regain and worry that the surgery is no longer working for them. Scheduling and attending follow-up appointments can help identify these and other problems early. Understanding the way diet, fluid, exercise, and vitamins affect your new digestive system can help you get back on track.
Below are two videos recorded for bariatric patients. The first covers protein, fluid, and vitamin issues right after surgery. The second covers long-term habits that help bariatric patients succeed in their wellness and weight loss goals. With the right routine, your new anatomy can help you meet your goals. Other habits can reduce your chances of success. We hope this educational review helps you to be your healthiest self after bariatric surgery!
