Marshall Medical Hosts Free Mental Health Talk: Scams & How to Avoid Exploitation

February 19, 2016— Marshall Community Health Education is pleased to offer another free program in its ongoing Mental Health Series.

Scams have become prevalent in modern society and many target seniors. As we age, seniors are more vulnerable to exploitation. Learn how to avoid and detect this type of abuse.

Al Hamilton, Attorney, El Dorado County Senior Legal Services, will be speaking about the common and deceitful scenarios that many seniors face as well as how to avoid them. This informative talk will be held on Tuesday, March 1, from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m., at Marshall Community Health Education at 3581 Palmer Drive, Suite 501 in Cameron Park. The next talk in the series is titled Introduction to Ayurveda, Living with Health and Wellness. Presented by Jennifer Fiterre, Marshall Volunteer Coordinator, Ayurveda and Reiki Practitioner. Ayurveda is a mind and body approach to self care which may help prevent fatigue, pain, anxiety/depression and stress, held on March 11 and April 28.
