About Scott Vasconcellos

Scott Vasconcellos, MD, is board certified in cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine. He has experience managing all cardiac and vascular diseases. His focus includes treating coronary artery disease, heart failure, heart rhythm disorders.

Prior to joining Marshall Cardiology in 2009, Dr. Vasconcellos earned his medical degree in 2003 from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. He completed both his internal medicine internship (2004) and residency (2006) from Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla. He graduated in 1998 from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Dr. Vaconcellos specializes in treating valvular heart disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He is also equipped to treat patients with implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers).

When out of his office, Dr. Vasconcellos enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, exploring all that El Dorado County has to offer. Personal interests include travel, skiing, volleyball, golf, and home improvement projects.
