About Sarah Husted

Sarah Husted, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner caring for patients at Marshall Pediatrics in Placerville. Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Point Loma Nazarene School of Nursing. She went on to receive her Masters of Science and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Sonoma State University. Sarah began her career as a registered nurse providing care to emergency department patients and then in outpatient clinics assessing, managing and treating patients of all ages. She is an active member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners. What attracted Sarah to the medical field was preventative medicine and being able to help prevent chronic health conditions through living a healthy, active lifestyle. In her spare time Sarah enjoys working in her vegetable garden, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and dog Charlie.
