About Majd Michael, MD

Dr. Majd Michael completed his residency and fellowship in Texas Tech University. He is extensively trained in all aspects of gastroenterology and hepatology. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is proficient in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. He stays up to date to the exciting developments in the field.

His patient care philosophy is based on educating his patients so they can make informed decisions about their health.

Dr. Michael published multiple research papers in peer reviewed journals focusing on the evolving field of microbiome as well as small bowel disease. He presented his research in the major national and international gastroenterology meeting.

Dr. Michael has clinical interest in a broad range of GI conditions including colon cancer screening, liver disease, and motility disorders. He finds GI cancer prevention, especially colon cancer, the most rewarding part of his job as a gastroenterologist.

In his free time, Dr. Michael enjoys traveling, hiking, and gardening. He is married with one child.
