She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and completed her residency at Sutter Family Practice Residency Program in Sacramento.

Prior to joining Marshall, she worked as a sole proprietor family medicine practitioner in Placerville.
