About Ketan Ajudia

Ketan Ajudia, MD, serves the community by providing services for the management of diabetes, heart diseases, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, COPD and other medical diseases. His special interests include management of patients with abnormal liver tests, viral hepatitis, cirrhosis and other less common liver diseases.

Dr. Ajudia graduated from one of the most prestigious medical schools in India, MP Shah Medical College in Jamnagar. He received his residency training at Hahnemann University affiliated hospitals in Pennsylvania. Following internal medicine board certification, he received his fellowship training in hepatology (liver diseases) at the University of Southern California.

He believes that encouraging a healthy lifestyle and screening to detect medical conditions early are the cornerstones of medical care. "Once a condition is diagnosed, empowering patients with knowledge of their condition and its treatment and forging a cooperative relationship are essential to preventing long term complications," he said.

Dr. Ajudia lives in El Dorado County with his wife and two sons. He enjoys traveling, hiking and gardening.
