About Jordan Green
Dr. Jordan Howard Green is an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon caring for patients at Marshall Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Placerville, California since the Fall of 2024. The focus of his practice is spine surgery; however, he prefers to maximize nonoperative treatment options, utilizing surgery as a last resort.
Dr. Green is passionate about his work because he enjoys helping his patients live a pain-free existence, getting them back to doing the things that bring them joy. He has special interest in minimally invasive and motion-sparing techniques and before coming to Marshall, had completed over 1,000 spine surgeries.
Dr. Green completed his undergraduate work at the University of Chicago and attended medical school at the university’s Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Michigan and his Spine Surgery Fellowship at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak also in Michigan. While at the University of Chicago, he was the president and co-founder of Medical Students for Health Equity and raised funds in support of a REMEDY mission trip to the CerviCusco free clinic in Peru, where he performed health screenings on hundreds of local women.
Dr. Green is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and has served as a reviewer for the AAOS Journal, the European Jornal of Orthopedic Surgery, and the Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research peer-reviewed journal. He is a published researcher, with one of his articles cited over 1,200 times.
Dr. Green grew up in a military family. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and watching and playing sports.
