About Jason Nelles

Jason Nelles, MD, is a board certified urologist treating patients with a wide range of urological conditions. His clinical emphasis is in general urology, endourology, and robotic and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Nelles graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and went on to achieve his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis followed by a research fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his residency in Urologic Surgery at University of Illinois-Chicago. He has authored many research publications in his area of specialty.

When he’s not working, Dr. Nelles enjoys rock climbing, scuba diving, bike riding, ball room dancing, running and traveling. He has even climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. He enjoys classic rock, spending time with his 2 German shepherds and working on his muscle car. A reformed carnivore from the Midwest, he has discovered the joys and health benefits of whole food plant-based cooking and eating and advocates this for his patients.
