About Evgenia Polosina

Evgenia Polosina, MD was born in Russia where she attended Samara State Medical University. She then moved to Brooklyn, New York to complete her internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. After that, she moved to Michigan for her residency at Central Michigan University College of Medicine.

She has experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques, both robotic- and video- assisted, as well as in laparotomy for the management of malignant and benign gynecological conditions.

Dr. Polosina has conducted multiple research studies, including how biological and social environmental exposures influence pregnancy, the antenatal course, and subsequent effects on the health of mothers and their children.

When she’s not at work, Dr. Polosina enjoys cooking, traveling and gardening with her husband Ted. They have several avocado trees at their home in Placerville.
