About Parneet Kaur

Dr. Parneet Kaur is a Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgeon caring for patients at Marshall Podiatry in Cameron Park, California since Fall of 2023. She specializes in the treatment of foot, ankle, and lower leg conditions in children and adults. Dr. Kaur treats sports injuries, Achilles tendon injuries, ankle and foot arthritis, flat feet, bunions, hammer toes, peripheral neuropathy, and Charcot foot deformity. She also treats diabetic foot deformities and helps people with diabetes avoid amputation by preserving their limbs.

Dr. Kaur is highly trained in new advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques (Minimally Invasive Bunion Surgery, hammertoe repair, ankle arthroscopy and more). She specializes in treating clubfoot deformities in newborns. She has trained under Dr. John E. Herzenberg, a pediatric and adult orthopedic surgeon who is one of the world's foremost practitioners of the Ponseti Method, which is used to correct clubfoot deformity. She has extensive advanced training in Charcot foot deformity correction and circular external fixation for deformity correction, and other complex foot and ankle disorders.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior from the University of California at Davis with summa cum laude honorary distinction. While there, she devoted her time to serving the underserved community of Sacramento at the UC Davis School of Medicine non-profit student-run clinics. She earned her four-year medical degree from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida where she graduated with honors, being on the President’s List.

Dr. Kaur completed her three-year surgical training in Reconstructive/Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery with emphasis on Charcot Reconstruction and Limb Salvage in 2023 under the tutelage of Dr. Guido A. LaPorta at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, New York and with Dr. Noman A. Siddiqui and Dr. Chris Bibbo at the International Center for Limb Lengthening of the Rubin Institute of Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland. She served as the chief resident and was recognized with the Director's Award for excellent clinical and surgical skills, providing exceptional patient care that is efficient, thorough, and conscientious.

During her surgical residency training years, she had the privilege to learn from some of the best orthopedic surgeons in the country such as Dr. Beat Hintermann, Dr. Mark Myerson, and Dr. Bob Anderson, who has covered the Green Bay Packers for the last six years, prior to covering the Carolina Panthers for 18 years.

Dr. Kaur's passion is driven by the bond she builds with her patients and the enjoyment she holds in keeping them on their feet - healthy and well. She enjoys making an immediate impact and improving the quality of life for her patients. She works with patients to design an individual treatment plan to help them achieve the best possible outcome. She is an avid non-fictional reader, football enthusiast, coffee devourer, salmon connoisseur, travel addict, and a sunshine lover. Dr. Kaur is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
